Nissa dress photoshoot

It always amazes me that this:

Can come from this (plus a really great photographer and a super amazing model):

(I used nearly 20 different white fabrics including eyelet and lace)

This is the new and improved design for the Nissa Dress! I’ll be detailing the new pattern in a post soon.

You can see the best pictures of this dress in my shop, but I thought I’d share some behind-the-scenes pictures here.

We took pictures at a church. To get a good background the model did some climbing 🙂

The bouquet is made of oregano blossoms from my garden. I think it adds a nice touch without taking attention away from the dress. And as you can see in the next photo, it was a fun prop too.

This particular model was such a joy to work with – she’ll be appearing again for sure!

One last aside, I entered this in the Zibbet Wedding Challenge and although I didn’t get in the top 5, it was still featured here on Pinterest!

My Twinn doll garden photoshoot

"Katherine" My Twinn doll dress and apron

Photography is not my strong point. Fortunately, I have a sister who is very good at it. Moriah took some beautiful pictures yesterday of my “Katherine” dress and apron for My Twinn dolls.

"Katherine" My Twinn doll dress and apron hem detail

The Katherine dress and apron were designed and named for the woman who gave me my doll and got me interested in making doll clothes again.

I made the dress and apron some time ago, and we had taken some pictures then too, but they weren’t nearly as nice as these!

Zibbet shop – baby steps!

I checked another goal off my list. I’ll admit, it was an easy one, but necessary! 🙂

I created a header and profile picture for my (future) zibbet shop! Zibbet is like Etsy, but better (IMHO).

So, if you’d like, click the banner above and check out my shop…my empty little shop. Next step – listing stuff for sale! And if you think you might want to try out zibbet for yourself, click the banner below!
