Soul Surfer ~ The True Story of Bethany Hamilton

Guest post by Kim Newhouse

Kim and Moriah promoting the movie

We got to see a preview of this exciting movie coming to theaters April 8. It’s about an amazing family with a determined daughter who survived a shark attack to continue her journey towards being a pro
surfer. I loved the part where Dennis Quaid (a wild-boy actor formerly addicted to heroin) is reading his Bible by his daughter’s bedside and encouraging her with Words of Truth! It was also fun to see Helen Hunt as the mom, singer Carrie Underwood as the church youth group leader, and Craig T. Nelson as the surgeon. Email me if you’re interested in group rate tickets–I will do whatever I can to help everyone see this movie! (Bring your kleenex, especially if you have a soft mommy heart that can’t stand to see your baby suffering!) Watch the trailer here: http://soulsurferthemovie.com
